PELATIHAN MENYANYI LAGU ANAK BERBAHASA INGGRIS UNTUK PENTAS P5 SD NEGERI 1 JOGOPATEN TAHUN AKADEMIK 2022/2023

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile (P5) in Indonesia’s education is described in six dimensions, namely (1) being faithful, devoted to God Almighty and having noble character; (2) being independent; (3) being cooperative; (4) being globally diverse; (5) being critical thinkers; and (6) being creative. This community service program aims to explain how to teach students to sing English children's songs for the P5 art performance held at SD Negeri 1 Jogopaten. The methods used include student selection, selection of songs with easy-to-memorize lyrics, pronunciation training, and adjustment of lyrics to the melody. This activity was participated by 4 students of fourth-grade students, showing positive results in the form of the ability to perform English children's songs at the P5 art performance. This activity also provided students with the opportunity to implement the dimension of global diversity. This dimension involves respecting own culture but remaining open to foreign cultures.
