PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI KEARSIPAN BERBASIS MICROSOFT ACCESS 2010 PADA KANTOR DESA KEMADULOR

Abstract

The Kemadulor Village Office is one of the institutions that previously managed archives manually, leading to several issues such as delays in document retrieval, disorganized filing, and the risk of losing important data. The manual archive management system also hindered the effectiveness of public services and required more time for processing.To address these problems, the researcher conducted direct observations and interviews with village officials in the administrative service division. This study employed a descriptive method with a qualitative approach.

The archival information system was developed using Microsoft Access 2010 due to its user-friendly features and suitability for integrated data management. The purpose of this research is to implement a computer-based archival information system that supports administrative processes in the Kemadulor Village Office.The developed system facilitates the management of incoming and outgoing mail as well as the issuance of certificates (such as SKCK, SKTM, and income statements) electronically. It also accelerates document retrieval, minimizes input errors, and promotes transparency and accountability in administrative services.
